Canada Workers Benefit (ACWB) is a refundable tax credit of low-income earning workers and families. The highest basic benefit is $1,428 among the singles and $2,461 among families. It also has a disability supplement of up to 737 when a person or a family is single. The following payment date is the 10th of October.
New Benefits for Students
The part-time students between 18-24 years old who have dead or disabled parents paying at least 3000 dollars in Canada Pension plan will be able to receive support. Part time students who are eligible will also be given a monthly allowance of 150.89. In the current program, full-time students receive an amount of $301.77 monthly.
