The Ladli Behna Yojana of the Chief Minister is a highly exceptional initiative which is initiated by the Maharashtra government. Under this scheme, every beneficiary woman will be given rupees 1500 Monthly. So far 17 installments have been delivered to the women account successfully. And now every woman is waiting till the 18th and 19th issues. The 18th sequel was due in December. But owing to the election the installment of this was not paid. Now it was announced that the 18th and 19th installments should be transferred jointly after January 16, 2026.

This amount of benefit will be deposited in the accounts of the women through DBT by the close of January or the initial week of February according to sources. There is a possibility that, some women will be only given the 18th installment and some women will be given 18th and 19th installments as one. Nevertheless, the amount of the benefit will not be given to those women who are not doing their E-KYC yet.
Maharashtra government strategy of 18th and 19th installments of the Ladli Behna scheme 2026
The government has declared that every woman will receive 18th and 19th installments of the Chief Minister Ladli Behna Yojana by January 2026, but due to the elections, the transfer was not made. Can we still update E-KYC ?
The KYC deadline of the CM Ladli Behna Yojana was 18 November 2025 as we all know, but it was extended to 31 December 2025. And this deadline is still further lengthened. Now women are able to update their ekyc. After the e-KYC is done, their verifying will be done and 18th and 19th instalment will be given to them in one bank account.
Eligibility Criteria for the Chief Minister’s Ladli Behna Yojana 2026
This scheme can be applied by those women who have less than rupees 2.5 lakh as their annual income. This scheme mainly is useful to women who lost their husbands, those who are married but have a low economic status and those who are divorced or abandoned. Only women are able to fill the form whose age is over 21 and less than 65 years. Candidate needs to have authentic domicile certificate of Maharashtra state. The incentives of this scheme are given directly via DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) hence, the woman applicant has to have a bank account attached to an Aadhaar card.
Does the Ladki Behna Yojana e-KYC portal remain open?
According to the data that most of the beneficiaries are yet to undergo the KYC process. The ones who have not yet done the KYC can implement it now because even as of 31 st December gov is still accepting Ekyc. Some beneficiaries failed to do it on time because of the internet hitches or crash of the portal. They have the option of doing the KYC in the future. The beneficiary woman will be required to access the following portal in order to complete the KYC ladkibehna.maharashtra.gov.in.
In this case, they will be required to go into the e-KYC link, key in their Aadhaar number and confirm OTP. After authentication, they will be required to fill in their details with care like their bank, their name, identity proof etc. In case all the details are accurate, they are expected to provide the information. When submitted, the KYC information will be updated and they will be awarded the amount of the benefit on a monthly basis without interruption.
Any opportunities of 1500-2100 Increment in Chief Minister Ladki Behna Yojana?
Some time back, as we all know, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde had guaranteed that the benefit amount of the Chief Minister Ladki Behna Yojana would be raised by increasing the amount of the rs.1500 to rs.2100. But nothing has been determined on this yet, no official intimation of the same made. This promise will surely be availed according to Chief Minister. However, given the financial constraints, and the budget limitation, this might require a little more time to carry out. However it is anticipated that once the budget of 1st February 2026 the Maharashtra state government may hike the amount of the benefit of this scheme up to rs. 2100 instead of rs.1500.
Who will miss the 18th and 19th installment of the Chief Minister Ladki Behna Yojana?
The installments of the Chief Minister Ladki Behna Yojana will not be provided to those women who do not qualify the criteria of this scheme any more. Female customers who have not yet done their e-KYC will also not be covered by this scheme. Likewise, when women have bank account and not connected to Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), they will also be prevented. In addition, the Chief Minister Ladki Behna Yojana has also been tightened in the verification procedure recently to ensure that fraudsters do not avail themselves of the scheme.
