Teach for India Fellowship: Stipend and Benefits
After Joining the Teach for India Fellowship, fellows not only will get an opportunity for social service but also they get the other benefits. Benefits included in this are monthly stipend which is ₹25,344 per month. With this stipend housing allowance ranging from ₹6,000 to ₹12,000 for accommodation and food. School supplies and other necessary expenses for teaching are also provided. Each fellow receives health insurance coverage up to ₹1 lakh and free counseling services. Fellows are entitled to paid leave, sick leave, emergency leave, national and regional holidays, and summer holidays as per their contract.

Teach for India Fellowship 2026 Eligibility
To be eligible for the Teach for India Fellowship, the applicant must be an Indian citizen. If the applicant is from foreign country, then they have to submit an OCI card. Only graduate candidates can apply for this scholarship program. Graduates whose graduation will be completed by July are eligible. Students who are applying for the fellowship for the first time between July 2025 and May 2026 can also apply.
