5 Government Pension Schemes

Annapurna Scheme: This plan entitles poor elderly individuals with an age of 65 years and above to receive 10 kilograms of free food grain per month and who are eligible under the old age pension scheme, though due to some reason are unable to receive their pension.
How To Apply for Govt Schemes 2025?
Online Application: Applications can be made via UMANG app or UMANG official site. To begin with, log in or register an account. Then enter NSAP in the search box, the pension schemes to be found under it, and then the option of apply online. Complete the form with your information and file it in.
Offline Application: In case you want to visit physically, you may visit your local Gram Panchayat office or Municipal Corporation office and take the application forms. To start with, you need to download the UMANG app in your smartphone. It is free in Google Play store on Android phones as well as in Apple App Store on iPhones. Open the app after installation. You will be presented with the center dashboard containing different classes of government services.
In case you are a new user, create an account by keying in your mobile number and verifying the account using OTP (One Time Password). In case you already have an account, then just log in using your credentials. Go to the search bar on the upper right and type the term NSAP or National Social Assistance Programme and find related pension schemes with this term.
You will find such schemes as Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme, Widow Pension Scheme, Disability Pension Scheme, etc. Choose the scheme that you want to apply to. Once the appropriate scheme has been selected, then, you can begin by clicking on the button of the scheme, which says Apply Online.
