E Shram Card 2025: To ease the lifestyle of low-level income holders or we can say that those who are coming under the category of workers working in the unorganised sector, a benefit was launched named E Shram Card. Any worker who is having the E Shram Card 2025 with them can easily get different types of government schemes, benefits, and services. The Ministry of Labour & Employment is one of the oldest and important Ministries of the Government of India which is consistently working on the improvement of the lives and quality of the labour force in the country by protecting and securing the interests of workers, promoting welfare, and providing a better society where they can feel and take the privilege of various labour laws that govern the terms and conditions of service and employment for workers.
The ministry of labour has developed the E Shram Card portal to create a database called National Database of Unorganised Workers which will be linked with Aadhaar. This database will include details such as name, occupation, address, educational qualifications, types of skills, and family information, among others, to enhance their employability and extend the benefits of social security schemes to them.E Shram Card 2025 maintains the first of its kind of database of unorganised workers including the workers who are migrant and construction workers, gig workers, and platform workers etc.
E Shram Card 2025:
Ministry of Labour and Employment has launched a scheme to uplift the workers of gig economy who belong to the unorganised sector by providing them means of welfare support assistance at their time of requirement. Anyone who is working in an unorganised sector can apply for an e-Shram card or Shramik card. Laborers in these sectors can enjoy several advantages through the e-Shram card. The benefits are they will get as a pension after reaching 60 years, death insurance, financial support in case of incapacity, and a UAN number, among others.

Unorganised sector basically refers to the gig economy that includes the service industry which is not stable. The workers working here is basically have low income and they don’t follow any structured pattern of employment. These units are not getting any privilege of ESIC and EPFO scheme.
Pros of having an E Shram Card 2025:
The unorganised workers who are a part of the gig economy, they will be benefited from both of the govt. if they are having the e-Shram card with them. With the help of the card they can get a monthly pension of Rs.3, 000 after turning 60. The benefits they will receive include financial assistance of Rs.1,00,000 in the event of partial disability and death insurance with coverage of Rs.2,00,000. If a beneficiary is facing any accidental death then their partner will receive all the benefits. The UAN card is valid all over in India.
Latest Information on E Shram Card 2025:
Previously the portal of E Shram Card 2025 was limited to 4 languages like English, Hindi, Kannada and Marathi. That the applicants those who were well versed in these languages could understood that language. But now it has been upgraded and is available in all 22 scheduled languages. This change allows unorganised workers from various parts of the country to access it and benefit from government programs.

How to Download E Shram Card 2025
You can download the card using any of these 3 methods:
- Visit e-Shram portal
- Click on “Update or Download UAN Card”
- Log in using one of the following:
- Aadhaar number
- UAN number
- Registered mobile number
- Enter the captcha code and click “Send OTP”
- After verifying the OTP, click on “Download UAN Card”
Eligibility Requirement for E Shram Card 2025
To get the card, the applicants have to meet certain eligibility requirements. Only the unorganised workerscan apply for this UAN card and those who are employed under a structural sector cannot apply. Unorganized workers who wish to apply should be between the ages of 16 and 59. The candidates must always have a working Aadhaar card number on them. The applicants are not eligible to join ESIC or EPFO.
Procedure of Application of E-Shram Card
The eligible candidates can apply to get the e-Shram card either through the Common Service Centre or by visiting the e-Shram portal. The applicants who are eligible enough and they know they can get the card,only those candidates can visit their nearest CSC centre to apply for the e-Shram card. On the portal the applicant can find their nearest CSC centre with the help of the database by entering their state and district. The first step will be, the applicants have to go to the E Shram Card 2025.
Then they have to click on the one stop solution tab to make their registration. Fill all of the required information like put your mobile number which is Aadhaar linked, then enter the captcha code, then mention you are an active member of EPFO and ESIC or not. After that you have to click on the “OTP send button” to get the OTP on your phone. You will receive an OTP then. After receiving you have to enter it along with the captcha code and submit. An e-KYC form will be displayed.
Fill the form, then check the conditions if any and submit. After validating fill all of your personal, educational qualification along with your work and banking details. Select the self-declaration option and click ‘Submit’. After following all of the said instructions, the UAN card will be generated on the screen. After that just click on the ‘Download’ option to save your E Shram Card 2025.
Process of Checking the Payment Status
The applicants are said to visit to the E Shram Card 2025 at first. Then after reaching there you will see a tab written one stop solution. After clicking one stop solution button, click on login option therein. To log in give your mobile number, and then put the captcha code. Then after following the instructions, you have to click on the send OTP button. An OTP will be delivered on your number. Right after that put the OTP along with the captcha code then submit. After that validate and click on the check payment status tab to know your status. To check the status, you have to give all the necessary credentials like UAN number, e-Shram card number, Aadhaar card and submit. After submitting the details, you can see your payment status.
