Eligibility Of National Overseas Scholarship 2026 For Scheduled Tribe Student

Only Indian candidate can apply under this scholarship scheme. The scholarship is provided only for those candidates who belong to the scheduled tribe. Only those candidates can apply who are willing to study Masters course, PhD course or Post Doctoral Research Abroad. You need to get more than 55% marks in your previous degree to get benefit of this scholarship scheme. If you Have already received the call letter from anyone top 1000 Institutes, Then you can apply in this scholarship scheme. without having admission call letter, your registration for scholarship will be rejected

Age: For Masters courses your age should not be more than 32 years, The maximum age is 35 years for candidates who want to get admission in PHD. and 38 years old is the maximum age for candidates who are willing to enroll in post doctoral research. The income of the family should not be more than 6 lakh annual.

The selection procedure for this scholarship scheme is based on merit list base. ministry will prepare different merit list according to the subject preferences. they will prepare merit list according to the following preference: The first preference will be given for those candidates who have already enrolled themselves in any of the top 1000 University of QR World ranking reports. If there are still some seats remaining, then the second reference will be given for those candidates who get the admission offer from any top 1000 level Institute.
