New Residential Schemes: The Uttar Pradesh Housing and Development Board (UPHDB) has announced ambitious plans to launch two major greenfield township projects in Banda and Chitrakoot, aiming to provide over 14,000 affordable homes to address the rising demand for housing in the Bundelkhand region. Approved during the UPHDB’s 272nd board meeting on July 22, 2025, these initiatives are set to transform the residential landscape of these districts, offering modern living spaces to approximately 13,950 residents. With an estimated investment of ₹2,284 crore, the projects will span 338 acres in Banda and 161 acres in Chitrakoot, marking a significant step toward inclusive urban development.
