Eligibility Criteria for PMSS CAPF Scholarship 2025
To apply for the PMSS CAPF & AR Scholarship, applicants must meet the following eligibility conditions:
- Wards/Widows of CAPF/AR Personnel:
o Deceased during service (including election duty)
o Disabled due to service-related injury
o Awardees of Gallantry Awards
o Currently serving or retired (Below officer rank only) - Wards of State/UT Police Personnel:
o Died in Terrorist or Naxal attacks - Children of Assistant Commandants (Local Rank):
o Drawing Inspector-level salary, eligible under Category F and G - Academic Requirements:
o Must have scored minimum 60% marks in entry qualification (10+2, Diploma, or Graduation)
o Admitted to the 1st year of a professional degree in the academic year 2025-26 - Eligible Courses Include:
o B.Tech / B.E
o MBBS / BDS / B.V.Sc
o BBA / BCA / B.Pharma / B.Sc (Nursing)
o MBA / MCA / M.Sc (Agriculture) - Renewal Applicants:
o Should have passed all subjects in the previous year with minimum 50% marks - Other Conditions:
o A maximum of 2 children per family can benefit

Seat Allocation and Reservation Criteria
Each academic year, 2,000 new scholarships are distributed among the dependents of CAPF and AR personnel, with a gender-based quota:
• 1,000 scholarships for boys
• 1,000 scholarships for girls
Additionally, from the year 2019-20 onwards, the Government has included 500 scholarships for children of State/UT Police who lost their lives in terrorist or Naxalite attacks, distributed as:
• 250 scholarships for boys
• 250 scholarships for girls
Note: If fewer applicants apply in one category (e.g., only 800 males), the remaining seats (200) will not be transferred to the other gender.
