What is the Integrated Scholarship Scheme?
The Integrated Scholarship Scheme is a Madhya Pradesh government initiative to provide financial aid to meritorious students facing economic challenges. It ensures students can continue their education without financial stress, covering various academic levels and even recognizing sports achievements. The scheme operates through the MP Scholarship Portal (MPTAAS) for a streamlined process.
Who is Eligible?
To apply for the scheme in 2025, students must meet these criteria:
- Be a permanent resident of Madhya Pradesh (domicile certificate required).
- Have a family annual income of ₹54,000 or less for most categories (check specific income limits for sports scholarships).
- Be enrolled in a government or government-aided college for academic programs.
- For sports scholarships, have secured a top 3 position in state or national-level competitions.
- Have academic records matching the course requirements (e.g., minimum marks for postgraduate or undergraduate programs).
Benefits of the Scheme
The financial support varies by academic level:
- PhD Students: ₹600 per month for 10 months.
- MPhil Students: ₹500 per month for 10 months.
- Postgraduate Students: ₹300–₹400 per month, depending on the course.
- Undergraduate Students: ₹200–₹300 per month.
- Sports Scholarship: Up to ₹600 per month for eligible athletes.
The amount is directly credited to the student’s bank account, ensuring transparency. Students in government-aided private colleges are also eligible.
How to Apply
The application process for 2025 is offline, as announced by the Higher Education Department:
- Watch for advertisements in newspapers, typically released by 30th June 2025, detailing the application period.
- Collect the application form from your college or download it from www.scholarshipportal.mp.nic.in.
- Fill in details like name, course, Aadhaar number, and income details.
- Attach required documents: passport-size photo, Aadhaar card, income certificate, domicile certificate, mark sheets, and bank details.
- Submit the form to your college or the designated office by 31st August 2025.
- Track your application status on the MP Scholarship Portal using your application number.
