AP Polycet Counseling Process

Step 1: Payment of Processing Fee
To participate in counseling, each eligible candidate must pay a non-refundable processing fee.

  • OC/BC candidates: ₹700
  • SC/ST candidates: ₹250

How to pay: Visit the official website and click on “Pay Fee Online.” Use your AP POLYCET hall ticket number and rank to log in. Manabadi advises keeping your transaction ID safe for future reference.

Step 2: Certificate Verification
This is the most important step. Although most of the verification is now digital, students who have any discrepancy in their documents or who belong to special categories will still have to visit the Help Line Centre (HLC).

Mandatory Documents:

  • AP POLYCET 2026 Hall Ticket and Rank Card.
  • SSC (10th) Marks Memo and Passing Certificate.
  • Study Certificate (Class 4 to 10).
  • EWS certificate (if applicable, issued for 2026-27).
  • Income Certificate (issued on or after January 1, 2026).

  • Local Status Certificate (for those migrating from Telangana).

Step 3: Select the Web Option
Once your documents are verified, you will receive a login ID on your registered mobile number.

Manabadi’s advice: We strongly recommend choosing at least 30-50 options. Don’t just choose one college; List your preferred branch (Mechanical, Civil, CSE, EEE) in multiple colleges to ensure that you get a seat in the first round itself.
Tip: Use the Manabadi College Predictor to see which colleges fall in line with your rank.

Step 4: Seat Allotment
SBTET will process the allotment based on your rank, category, local area status, and gender. On the day of allotment, you can login and download your allotment letter. You will need to pay a small tuition fee (if you are not entitled to a full fee refund) to secure your seat.

Step 5: Final Reporting
Reporting is a two-step process:

Self-reporting (online): Click the “Accept My Joining” button on the portal.
Physical Reporting: Visit the allotted college with your original documents and allotment order. If you do not do both these things, your seat will be cancelled.
