ISRO YUVIKA 2026-27 Registration: Every Year ISRO organizes a special program called YUVIKA 2026-27 Join the Young Scientist Programme [Class 9 Students]. An elaborated form of YUVIKA is YUva VIgyani Karyakram. This ISRO YUVIKA 2026-27 Registration Program provides a chance to the youth to become young scientists. This program is designed to teach the Young Learners about space science, space technology and real scientific thinking. It gives bright students a chance to look at How Space Mission Works, how rockets fly, how satellites help our lives and how science can become a world future career.

For thois year ISRO has opened YUVIKA a fully residential 2 week program ,where selected students will get a chance to  stay at ISRO centers and they can meet the scientist here. They can learn through different workshops. They can learn through experiments and hands-on activities. What is ISRO YUVIKA 2026-27?

ISRO YUVIKA 2026-27 is a national level program organized by Indian space agency, which develop the interest in science, technology, engineering and Mathematics. However many students are already confused as they are thinking that this is a competitive exam like JEE main or JEE advance, but this is not true, it is not a entrance exam.

This is an educational program which is conducted by the ISRO. It does not provide admission in any engineering course. However through this program students can learn about space and with the help of this curiosity they can take admission in space programs after 12th.

This is a 2 week residential program in which boarding and lodging both are included in the program. It is fully funded by ISRO itself. This program is especially designed for class 9 students. It gives them a chance to learn about space, space missions, satellites, rockets and it is conducted at various ISRO centers across India. It is open to all students but the selection is very limited.

All those students who want to apply for the YUVIKA 2026-27 program have to check their eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria is decided by the ISRO. It is as follows:

•  The student must be studying in class 9th.
•  The student must have been enrolled in any recognized School of India.
•  The age limit is not published yet, but the student must be in class 9th.
•  All students from every state and union territory can apply for this program.
•   However the selection will be based on the academic performance and activity of the students.

To get enrolled in this program only marks are not sufficient, ISRO has designed a mixed system to pick the eligible students for this special designed program. In this ISRO will pick the students who are scientifically curious and active in different areas.  So the selection usually depends on the different criterias.

•  Students should have scored 50% marks in class 8th.
• 10% selection marks will depend on the online performance test taken by ISRO.
• The student must have participated in science fairs and school activities through this they will secure 2% to 10% marks.
•  If students have any kind of achievement in science competition /Sports /guide/ NCC/ NSS it will secure additional marks .
•  And if students are from rural areas or Village areas they will get 15% extra weightage.

 Through this ISRO selects each and every student on the above criteria.  In short, students who have done well in school, participated in extracurricular activities and have interest in science and Space will have a better chance of selection.

 Fees / Cost of ISRO YUVIKA Program

• ISRO YUVIKA program is fully funded by ISRO. It does not cost students any single penny.
• Even course material and study sessions are free.
• Staying over in ISRO Center is totally free.
•  Food and boarding are free.
• Travel expenses are reimbursed by the ISRO, however to get the travel expenses reimbursement students have to submit the tickets.

•  All those students who want to join this ISRO YUVIKA program first  need to visit the ISRO official portal.

•  Here they have to click on the YUVIKA 2026-27 application link.
• After clicking on this link students will see a form, they have to fill this form with the basic educational and personal details.
•  After filling the important detail student have to submit the required documents like : class 9th result and marksheet
• All certificates and marksheet of the previous exam ,if students have any certificate from science fair or activities Students need to complete this submission before the deadline.
